Zam Automation first project was in mid-2008 contracted to ABB SA for the manufacturing installation and commissioning of various electrical panels and distribution boards Zam Automation started an electrical project with Standby Systems where installed uninterrupted power supply (UPS) including cable racks fabrication at the following power stations: -
• Matla power station
• Kriel power station
• Komati power station
• Amajuba power station
• Lethabo power station
• Simmerpan distribution
Zam Automation also assembled and wired MCC panels and distribution boards for Shaw Controls ( now known as Zest ) from 2009 to 2012 In November to March 2016 Zam Automation contracted to Sezisec Pty Ltd for installation of cable racks , cables , control and instrumentation. Zam Automation has also subcontracted to Mapulaneng Electrical (Ltd) for the following project at Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Boksburg
- MV and LV overhead and underground maintenance
- New prepaid metering installation
- Sub –station refurbishment
Zam Automations current work is for Amajuba Power Station. this consists of installation of battery chargers ups and other electrical equipments .
